Q. Why does organic cotton make a difference?
Freeset cotton products are made of the finest organic fair trade cotton. Certified organic fair trade cotton provides two key assurances. The first is that the cotton is free of toxins and pesticides that damage both the environment and people’s health. The second is that the workers producing the cotton are paid fair wages and have healthy working conditions.
Q. How do I know the T-shirts are 100% organic?
Freeset's T-shirts are certified as being produced using 100% organic and fair trade cotton. Certification is provided by external groups who exists to help consumers like you know that what a manufacturer claims is in fact true. In Freeset's case their T-shirts are certified by Eco Cert and the Fair Trade Federation to assure you that the raw materials used are sourced from suppliers who use sustainable farming and production processes. This means they avoid the use of chemicals, hormones and preservatives which damage the Earth and are harmful to people. The cotton is also then dyed using a 100% organic process.
Q. What is the minimun order size?
The current minimun order size for a custom order of Tshirts for your group is 50.
Q. How many colours of cotton are available?
Freeset offers 6 cotton colours all dyed using a 100% organic process. To take a look at the colour options click here.
Q. What is used to screen the T-shirts?
Freeset uses the Texcron dying pigment system when screen printing jute bags and t-shirts. Texcron paints have been tested for harmful substances according to Oeko-Tex Standard 100 product class 1. Oeko-Tex Standard 100 product class 1 is defined as suitable for “Textiles and textile toys for babies and small children up to the age of three, e.g. underwear, romper suits, bed linen, bedding, soft toys etc”. Our base paste (into which pigments are mixed) is K2 White supplied by Zydex. It is a water based eco-friendly product.
